Mr. G. Mariappan
Chairman of the Board (COB)
A stalwart in the textile and retail industry, Mr. G. Mariappan brings over 40 years of rich experience in weaving, fashion,retail wholesale and manufacturing management. He previously served as the Chairman and Managing Director of Sri Ganapathy Silks Sankarankoil Pvt. Ltd., where he successfully expanded the brand and strengthened its reputation as a household name in Tamilnadu. He also inherits deep business acumen and weaving traditions from his father, Late Sri T.M. Ganapathy Mudhaliar, the visionary founder of Sri Ganapathy Silks in the 1950s. Today, as Chairman of the Board, he continues to guide Sri Ganapathy Vastraalaya with wisdom, foresight, and an unwavering commitment to values.
Mr. T.M.G.M. Murugan
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
A seasoned leader from a weaving family, Mr. Murugan has successfully helmed fashion retail ventures for over a decade, including his tenure as CEO of Sri Ganapathy Silks Sankarankoil Pvt. Ltd. His strategic vision, innovation, and customer-first approach are deeply inspired by his father, Mr. G. Mariappan, former Managing Director of Sri Ganapathy Silks Sankarankoil Pvt. Ltd., and his grandfather, Late Sri T.M. Ganapathy Mudhaliar, who pioneered the family’s retail legacy in the 1950s.

With over three decades of expertise in retail administration, Mrs. Subbulakshmi has played a pivotal role in the success of Sri Ganapathy Silks Sankarankoil Pvt. Ltd. Her business acumen has been shaped through long-standing involvement in retail operations alongside her husband, Mr. G. Mariappan.
Mrs. Prasanna Devi Murugan
Managing Director
A dynamic entrepreneur, Mrs. Prasanna Devi contributes fresh perspectives to the fashion retail venture while actively managing her family businesses, including Karna Hotel, Chinnamanur and Ponmayil Homestay & Estates, Megamalai. She inherits her entrepreneurial spirit from her father, Mr. Pon Anandan, who has successfully led hospitality and estate businesses for over three decades.
